Below are some brief bios of some of the people in the family.
|Daniel Ross Pollock, my great-great-grandfather.
|Daniel Ross Pollock||This was my great-great-grandfather. He was born in Nova Scotia, crossed the Great Plains to California sometime during the early 1850's, reportedly built a mill in Albany, Oregon, returned east via Cape Horn, and married Agnes Ellen Harper in Warren County, Illinois on 22 July 1859. They had at least five children. He died in College Springs, Page County, Iowa on 2 April 1890.

|Anna Amelia Pollock||She was born in about 1862 in Iowa, married William A. Leslie, and died sometime after 1910.
|Edgar Anderson Pollock||He was my great-grandfather. He was born 18 January 1870 in College Springs, Page County, Iowa. He married Edith Mabel Amey in Joseph, Wallowa County, Oregon on 2 June 1896, and they had three children. He died 30 August 1949 in Enterprise, Wallowa County, Oregon. Edith Mabel Amey Pollock died 26 August 1954 in Portland, Multnomah County, Oregon.
|Ida Pollock||She married Phil Baird.
|Edna Pollock||She married Ray Truscott.
|Will Pollock||Widowed. He had at least two children, Ross and Pearl, both of whom were born before 1901.

Edith Mabel Amey
|Dean Pollock||He was my grandfather. He was born in Joseph, Wallowa County, Oregon on 9 June 1897, and married Mildred "Pip" Knox Brown on 29 June 1923 in Tacoma, Washington. They had two children. He died 22 April 1971 in Portland, Multnomah County, Oregon. "Pip" died 20 February 1991 in Portland.
|Lucile Agnes Pollock||She was born 18 May 1899 in College Springs, Page County, Iowa. On 23 May 1935 she married W.E. "Ed" Snethen, and died 9 May 1936 in Lyons, Nebraska while giving birth to their only child.
|Mary Elizabeth Pollock||She was born 29 June 1905 in Loveland, Laramie County, Colorado. She married Arnold Taylor, and they had two children. She died 6 June 1980 in Portland, Multnomah County, Oregon.
