Leaves From My Family Tree

While browsing a Bretz family bulletin board, I found a new cousin! This is certainly one of the more exciting aspects of doing genealogy-via-Internet.


Joseph Bever and Ruth Payne Bever had six children, five of whom survived to adulthood. Grandchildren of four of those children met in Centralia, Washington, on 23 April, 2001.

Dale's wife, Jean
Dale, Grandson of Sovina Mahalath Bever Huntington
Elizabeth Ann, Granddaughter of Minerva Elizabeth Bever Henderson

The only one of Joseph and Ruth Bever's children who was not represented was Tunis Melvil Bever.

If you (or someone you know) are descended from Tunis Melvil Bever and Cora Wagner Bever (they had one child, Clyde Earle Bever) please let us know!





After countless e-mails and telephone calls to arrange the 23 April 2001 reunion, I was unable to attend; on 28 April we had a mini-reunion at my home so that I could meet the new cousin, David, and his wife, Alice.
